At the formative stage of your leadership, who are you becoming?
Leaders ask me: How do I lead better?
I ask them back: Who are you becoming?
I coach identity.
Not tactics. Not performance hacks.
Identity - the core you lead from, the heart you listen to, the brain you work with.
I was the leader who executed flawlessly while feeling like something wasn't fully mine.
I've been told I was "too blunt", "too casual", "too difficult".
I adjusted - until answering "Who are you?" became harder than leading itself.
Until I might as well just shut up.
So I understand what it's like when you start compensating.
Borrowing scripts. Copying models.
Asking for perspectives when the answer is already inside you.
Because behavior without identity clarity is conformity.
And conformity breaks under pressure.
And it will, because you're trying to perform at a level your identity hasn't stabilized yet.
Like I did.
And so I'm not interested in teaching leaders to conform.
Because I can't even do that myself.
I'm interested in removing the masking.
Now that I've done it for myself - and love it much.
I've seen what happens when a leader stops trying to be influential and starts trusting her instincts.
🎳 The room shifts around her. Without her having to push.
I've seen what happens when an entrepreneur resolves a decade-long stalemate.
🎳 Finally aligning with his innate talents to start a new course of life.
I didn’t lend them a leadership model.
I worked with them on their identity.
We worked till we saw those sparks in their eyes when they responded to ‘Who are you?’.
Yes, dodge the nonsense, and emerge spark in tact. ✨
That’s the point. So that you lead from who you are.
And so I won't lend you a leadership model too.
Identity first. Execution follows.
Starting tomorrow,
Which behavior are you willing to retire because it’s not yours?
I'm curious who you’re becoming when you stop performing leadership and start embodying it.
